about me

I grew up in the reality of fatherlessness. Losing my dad at the age of 8 shaped the way I understood identity, belonging, and what it meant to be loved. For years, I carried questions about who I was and whether I had what it took. God met me in that place, not all at once, but over time and through healing, discipleship, restoration, and people He placed in my life who stood in the gap for me. As He rebuilt the parts of me that had been fractured, He began calling me to shepherd others through their brokenness. That calling eventually led me into pastoring, where I learned to walk with people through their own wounds and help them discover the identity God intended for them from the beginning.

My story hasn’t just informed my ministry, but it has become the heartbeat behind why I do what I do. God didn’t just restore me; He assigned me to go after the sons and daughters who are growing up with the same questions I carried. That’s the place where my passion for discipleship, mentoring, and raising up spiritual sons and daughters was born.

Forged – A men’s discipleship brotherhood forming sons into men of character, responsibility, and spiritual wholeness.
Refined – Our women’s movement raising up daughters and restoring identity with the care and guidance they never received.
Field & Faith – Our overarching ministry serving fatherless youth, foster families, hurting communities, and college campuses through mentorship, outreach, and outdoor experiences.

I’m also an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, and using the wilderness as a place to teach young people identity, resilience, confidence and purpose. Much of Field & Faith was born from the belief that the outdoors is one of God’s greatest classrooms and a place where I have experienced God the most.

At home, I’m a husband and the father of four amazing kids who inspire everything I do. They are the reason I fight for this generation, and they remind me daily of the kind of legacy I want to leave.

I speak at churches, colleges, men’s events, and young adult gatherings, teaching on identity, spiritual formation, leadership, and the crisis of fatherlessness. If you’d like to bring this message to your community, you can contact me here.
